Poems

Towers, harmless things

by towering walls surrounded

subdued by majesty feared

to destructive power surrendered

desperately peer

over the shoulder

of life

throw a look innocuous

to the left and then the right

grasp a pick feeble

yet cunning all-embraced

gnaw gradually

at the base

til it collapse

  1. Wow! Brilliant! I really like how you crafted an image in your poem of the quote. I am really amazed by the quick write and the deep meaning it holds. we are sensible and hence we hold walls against ourselves to prevent sadness and dissappointments.
